32 weeks

Chugging right along and feeling awesome.

Purposely cropped this way to show off the new bathroom paint color. Oh nesting, you have helped me so much with my endless household to-do-list!

Date: September 24, 2014
How far along: 32 weeks
Fruit size comparison: Last week was a coconut, but we’ll leave it at that because I really don’t think a head of lettuce is 4lbs. Silly baby people.
Maternity clothes: Starting to need the shirts, not just the pants. But still wearing regular dresses, as long as the length is forgiving enough.
Sleep: Like a rock. It’s like my body knows that the situation will be changing soon and is helping me put as much into the sleep bank as possible.
Craziest dream: Lately they’ve been rather violent. So I won’t share those, because they aren’t fun.
Best moment this week: Two “girls nights out” in two weeks, plus a baby shower for a friend and time to catch up with former coworkers. Enjoying the ease of just showing up to things without needing to find a sitter or worry about naps, feedings, poopy diapers, etc.
Sickness/aches: Knock on wood, I’ve been feeling the best I’ve felt in a while. My back pain has mostly subsided, I’m sleeping really consistently, and some days I have enough energy that I almost forget that I’m pregnant. Of course, other days I’m irritable and sore all over, so I guess I’m just speaking for today, when my biggest complaint is some arm pain from the Tdap vaccine.
Cravings: None this week.
Miss anything: All the free champagne at these girls night PR events! But I always have to drive home so I guess sparkling water is the safest option anyway.
Looking forward to: Enjoying a quiet first wedding anniversary this weekend, then heading to Rochester next weekend for a baby shower and some much-needed time with the family visiting.
